The Holt, Rinehart and Winston logo is blindstamped on the back of the first edition. This should not be confused with a book club blind stamp.

At left is the first issue dust jacket found on the first printing. To the right of it is a jacket from a fourth printing. Notice that two new reviews were added (Toni Morrison and Philip Roth).
