First edition points are: First Edition is stated on the bottom of the copyright page with no mention of subsequent printings. Boards are blue with light red brick spine. Note: there are book club editions that also state First Edition, but they have solid black boards and are 8.5 inches tall, which is an inch shorter than the true first editions.
