There was a limited first edition that was numbered and signed by the author. These were issued in a glassine jacket and limited to 500 copies.
The first trade edition has "First Printing" stated on copyright page. Boards are teal with gold lettering. Dust jacket has "10/59" on the bottom of the front flap, and photo of the author on the back with no reviews.
